QC Molecular Biology Specialist
About the role:
As a QC Molecular Biology Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our processes and products comply with applicable quality standards and regulations. You will be a key player in leading the development and validation of new analytical methods, as well as collaborating cross-functionally with teams to optimize our processes. Your technical expertise and critical thinking skills will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Tasks:
- Write and review SOPs, protocols, reports, and other laboratory-related documentation.
- Contribute to the development of new analytical methods and improvements in validation processes.
- Maintain accurate records of development and validation activities, and ensure proper documentation.
- Analyze, interpret, and evaluate experimental data to ensure compliance with guidelines and/or specifications, and present results to management and/or project sponsors.
- Collaborate with other teams to optimize processes and solve technical problems.
- Train other team members in development and validation practices, as well as in regulatory compliance.
- Participate in internal and external audits.

- Reports functionally to the QC Molecular Biology Manager
- Quality department
- Project Management and Business Development
- Operations (Manufacturing, R&D, MSAT)
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of molecular biology analytical methods (qPCR, dPCR, sequencing) and data analysis.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory environment, developing and executing analytical assays, as well as writing laboratory documentation or scientific papers.
- Exceptional attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a regulated environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
