
Process Engineer
About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for controlling and optimizing the production and Fill & Finish process, which is the most critical stage of batch production. We need someone with a solid knowledge both on the production side and on the engineering side, to have a better control over critical equipment at Viralgen. Your expertise will be essential to resolve potential incidents faster and more effectively.
Key Tasks:
- Be the person responsible for the equipment used in production.
- Lead and participate in problem solving using appropriate tools.
- Contribute to the spare parts strategy.
- Collaborate with the team to look for continuous improvement activities and implement them.
- Control CapEx and OpEx costs of manufacturing equipment.
- Participate in resource analysis.
- Build and inspire a culture of high performance and transparent, cross-functional collaboration.
- Support production in the implementation of standardized processes.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate problem occurrence and recurrence.
- Perform risk assessments and impact analysis to ensure process integrity.
- Develop and review standard operating procedures (SOP) for the processes.
- Train personnel in the proper use of equipment and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze process performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with quality teams to ensure all products meet specifications and regulations.
- Research and apply new technologies and methodologies to improve process efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications:
- University degree in engineering, preferably in chemistry.
- Valuable experience in process engineering.
- Valuable experience in insulator technology.
- Fluent English.
- Good communication skills.
- More than 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Analytical skills.
- Practical approach and experience in the production area.
- Ability to involve different stakeholders in the project.
- Ability to take responsibility for problems.
- Valuable experience in Lean manufacturing.
- Knowledge of applicable quality standards and regulations.
