 Process Engineer 

About the role:

In this role, you will be responsible for controlling and optimizing the production and Fill & Finish process, which is the most critical stage of batch production. We need someone with a solid knowledge both on the production side and on the engineering side, to have a better control over critical equipment at Viralgen. Your expertise will be essential to resolve potential incidents faster and more effectively.

Key Tasks:

  • Be the person responsible for the equipment used in production.
  • Lead and participate in problem solving using appropriate tools.
  • Contribute to the spare parts strategy.
  • Collaborate with the team to look for continuous improvement activities and implement them.
  • Control CapEx and OpEx costs of manufacturing equipment.
  • Participate in resource analysis.
  • Build and inspire a culture of high performance and transparent, cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support production in the implementation of standardized processes.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate problem occurrence and recurrence.
  • Perform risk assessments and impact analysis to ensure process integrity.
  • Develop and review standard operating procedures (SOP) for the processes.
  • Train personnel in the proper use of equipment and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze process performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with quality teams to ensure all products meet specifications and regulations.
  • Research and apply new technologies and methodologies to improve process efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • University degree in engineering, preferably in chemistry.
  • Valuable experience in process engineering.
  • Valuable experience in insulator technology.
  • Fluent English.
  • Good communication skills.
  • More than 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Practical approach and experience in the production area.
  • Ability to involve different stakeholders in the project.
  • Ability to take responsibility for problems.
  • Valuable experience in Lean manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of applicable quality standards and regulations.
