
DSP Operator
About the role:
The DSP Operator performs the operations involved in the DSP department in Gene Therapy in order to achieve the objectives of the organization ensuring proper compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices to achieve strategic objectives, promote the growth of people and facilitate communication and cooperation with other departments of the organization, in order to support customers from development to commercial manufacture of gene therapy drugs to obtain the best quality product at the right time and scale.
Key Tasks:
- Sample processing, including all purification processes such as lysis, clarification, affinity chromatography, density gradients, ion exchange chromatography, tangential filtration and dialysis.
- Preparation of the necessary media and reagents.
- Preparation of materials (autoclaving, double bagging, etc...).
- Cleaning of facilities and equipment.
- Internal maintenance of equipment.
- Storage of materials and inventory.
- Preparation of SOPs and records specific to the Production Area (Downstream).
- Completion of methodologies corresponding to the downstream stages.
- Receive the appropriate training for their work position in Health and Safety matters and ensure compliance within.
- Comply with the corporate legal framework (Compliance Policies).
- Collaborate in all those tasks required by the management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Higher Degree in Analysis and Control or Clinical Diagnostics or similar.

Master's in the area of science.

Previous experience in similar roles in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.

Previous experience of at least 2 years of laboratory experience.

Knowledge of NCF/GMP
