
Product Marketing Manager
About the role:
To accelerate our growth within the market, we are seeking a dedicated Product Marketing Manager who can bridge the gap between market alignment (customer needs), technical new service development/capabilities, and the commercial execution of these new services. This role is crucial in defining, positioning, and launching compelling service offerings to meet the needs of our cell and gene therapy customers and prospects.
The ideal candidate will support Business Development with positioning and pricing while managing content creation to enhance industry engagement and thought leadership. This hire will allow us to address industry needs and ensure our services help us stand out, converting market demand into sales growth.
Key Tasks:
- Develop and execute service offering strategies for gene therapy manufacturing that align with company goals and market needs.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities, customer needs, and the competitive landscape within the cell and gene therapy sector.
- Define service requirements and specifications based on market analysis and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with R&D, commercial, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful service development and launch.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing management, preferably in the biotech or life sciences industry with a focus on cell and gene therapy.
- Strong understanding of the biotechnology market, particularly within service industries like Contract Development Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies.
