Data Engineering Specialist (Senior)
We are looking for a (Senior) Data Engineering AWS Specialist to join our team. Here, Data Science is a core competency, and every day we work to enhance our capabilities and deliver innovative solutions to our clients.
What You Will Do:
As part of our team, you will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting data solutions and analytics platforms. You will work on our cloud environment in AWS which centralizes various data sources, processes, and distributes data to multiple consuming applications. Your passion for technology will enable you to drive creative solutions, always striving for higher standards and better quality. You will work in an Agile environment where integration, innovation, and collaboration are key.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build data services, from ingestion to transformation into business-usable analytics.
- Develop data pipelines using Step Functions
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Create accurate and informative technical documentation.
- Perform performance analysis and continuous improvements.
- Protect the data entrusted to us by our clients at all times.
About You:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
- A keen eye for detail and structured thinking.
- Experience working with data, ideally in the analytics space
- Three years or more AWS engineering experience implementing well-architected frameworks, including experience with Terraform for AWS infrastructure deployment.
- SQL (ideally MySQL).
- DevOps pipelines or CI/CD.
- GitHub
- CloudWatch
- Step functions
- Lambda functions
- Glue jobs
- AWS database services
- Security best practices, including security groups, control tower, landing zone and AWS secrets manager
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
